The Last Six Letters
The last six letters are made by adding dots 3 and 6 to the final letters. Dots 3 and 6 added to the letter a makes the letter u; dots 3 and 6 added to b makes a v; dots 3 and 6 added to c makes an x; dots 3 and 6 added to d makes a y; dots 3 and 6 added to e makes a z.
The letter w seems out of order. This is because w was not part of the French alphabet at the time Louis devised his braille alphabet. Later Louis devised a symbol for w at the request of an English friend.
